I frankly believe that Merill Hoge is an anti-Christian bigot, in regards to his irrational comments regarding Tim Tebow.
Watching ESPN, this commentator absolutely hates Tim Tebow. He goes on an on about how Tebow can't play, is not a good quarterback, that he's only an okay football player, etc.
I truly believe that Hoge, like many others who dislike Tebow, says such thing because he doesn't like Tebow's openly Christian stance.
After all, how could anyone say something about a player who:
-Was the Heisman Winner
-Led UF in such a manner
-Led his NFL team to the post-season and a post-season victory the only year he was given a chance.
Yet he, as well as others, talk trash about a football player who only has success. Is this the definition of insane. It can only be deduced to an irrational hatred against Christians.
Peyton Manning is a Christian and nobody's bagging on him. I think you need to take your Gator Goggles off and realize that Tebow is a good human being and a lousy quarterback.
So he knocks Tebow's NFL skills and he's an "anti-Christian bigot"?
What's wrong with his NFL skills?
When he's played, has he led his team to victory? Yes
Has he been given a fair opportunity to show that he can do it again, season after season? NO! They won't even play him.
When someone has had the kind of success that Tebow has had, with no signs of failure, it is nothing more than an IRRATIONAL hatred and dislike for the man to claim that he can't play. People like Hoge clearly show that they hate Tebow, when they say the kinds of things that they do, and in the way that they say them.
Why would someone claim that someone can't play, when that has never been the case?
Answer: Tebow is an outgoing, national figure that honors God. People who don't like Christianity or Christians want to silence Christians, and they'll lie and slander a person to get them out of the spotlight.

I don't care for the University of Florida football program. Manning isn't vocal about his Christian faith. Hence, there's no reason for the den of vipers to attack him.
How is Tebow a lousy quarterback? What has led you to that opinion? Anything? There's nothing for this irrational opinion than anti-Christian commentators general dislike for Tebow, that they'd lie about him. Things like "he can't play". These are totally absurd comments, and you know it.

Maybe he just dislikes Tebow because Tebow's overrated.
Being a Christian has nothing to do with that....
