You have to be very careful buying Super Bowl tix from the regular Joe Scalper on the street. Super Bowl tix have been counterfeited for years now. I had a buddy many moons ago who paid $1,000 for a super bowl tix in Atlanta to watch the Cowboys vs the Bills in Super Bowl XXVIII. He ended up watching the game in a sports bar because he bought a bogus but it was good enough quality to actually get him in the door but once the real tix seat owner showed up, he got the boot, because his tix was fake!

Your best bet is to buy from a credible secondary source like Stub hub which someone already mentioned. Another buddy of mine bought a Super Bowl tix off of Stub Hub a few years ago to watch the Packers vs Steelers Super Bowl in Dallas. He paid a little over 4 grand but it was legit and he got to watch his team (Packers) win the Super Bowl. A once in a lifetime thing, he said...
