I've never been too keen on the pro bowl. It's kind of nice to see some of footballs greats but the game is a bit of a shame.

As a side question is the pro bowl the worst of the major sports all star games?

PB is for the losers. Like the NIT in NCAA BB. Waste of time. Plus, hockey should be on.

No thanks. Pro Bowl is nothing more than two teams with rosters filled by popularity contest winners holding a glorified scrimmage. Base 4-3 defense, no blitzing, base offense, no offensive motion, no more than 2 receivers to a side, no intentional grounding, no punt/kick rushing. They may as well take the pads off and put flags on them.

It is a joke, yes I will watch it, at least some of it,
Back when the players were selected by the AP and coaches it was more of a competitive All-Star Game. Somewhere along the way, with people getting injured in the probowl and other superstars not wanting to play because they might get a career-ending injury all for a game that relaly exists for entertainment only.

Nowadays, it is more like a flag-football game ....no blocking punts or point afters, no sacking the QB...They might as well just wear shorts and flags and make it a touch game.

Yep. It's glorified flag football but it's fun to watch the guys who don't normally play against each other interacting and having a laugh.
