For whose kids? Parents are their children's role model, not some guy/girl on TV.

I agree, parents should be the role models but in today's world that isn't the case with so many families. I remember a time when little boys yearned to grow up to like Mickey Mantle or Roger Maris, etc.. Those were good role models. Babe Ruth was the scumbum model of his era IMO. He would have fit right in with today's obscenely paid losers.

If there were smartphones, social media, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc. back in the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s, I am sure some of the antics by celebs/sports stars would be on the level, or perhaps even greater than what happens today.
