LMAO!! I grew up with 3 older brothers who were also Steeler fans, so I learned as a little girl how to trash talk other teams, especially those Ohio ones! I grew up loving to hate the Cowgirls!

I CAN"T STAND T.O. I loved it when him and Joey Porter would go at it on the 50 yard line during warm ups! Say what you want about Joey but he put spice in the games! I miss him.

My family all knows not to get me started on the topic of football-- they know I am fanatic about my beloved Steelers. Someone asked me at a family get together just recently if I am going to convert to a Cowboy fan once I move to Austin (yeah, that was the look on my face!) I thought my brother was going to choke -- he had a mouthful of food and was laughing so hard, I thought I was going to have to do the heimlich maneuver! I bleed Black & Gold!

We do need another Joey Porter on the team! You know who I really miss? Jerome Bettis. I loved that guy--what a class act! I felt a big pit in my stomach every Sunday last year when they would run out onto the field and #36 wasn't among them.

Yeah, I already found an official "Steeler bar" in Austin, so that is where I'll be watching the games once I move! I am going to miss not being able to score tickets easily though. I have contacts here.

Wait a minute...WTAE is announcing right now about a prediction Big Ben made... He (Ben) said he thinks another SB victory is within reach this season and it's his goal. He also stated that the Steelers have the personnel to make it happen! Take that Brownie (Furnier)!!! We all know what happened the last time Big Ben promised a SB victory--he made it in the locker room to Bettis, saying "don't retire yet, I promise I'll get you to the big game next season" And as they say...the rest is history!!

oh yes jerome bettis the bus! legend, hall of famer. he was slow like a bus, but he was big like a bus! big ben will do it again and is a future hall of famer, i mean how many quarter backs start right out of college with a 98 QB RATING!! no one has done that, not that i know of. and we can be proud because he signed an 8 year $102 million doller contract!

but you know who i really miss? BILL COWHER!! greatest coach alive!

I'm surprised I never saw this thread before. Anyway, Giants all the way, baby! And no, I'm not a bandwagoner - I've been w/ Big Blue Wrecking Crew since I was a wee little lad who struggled spell "football". (Good thing I finally learned to spell that would a couple years ago. )

It's pretty sad when 1/3 of all votes go to 3 teams (Cowboys, Patriots, and Steelers).

LOL @ no love for the Jaguars.
