I may be old school but I think it's kind of dumb to do this. The Niners pay his salary. He could've worn any hat from baseball, hockey, basketball but another team in the league you play in??
I don't question his loyalty or anything I just don't understand it. Maybe he wanted a hat to match his underwear.
In that case the bay area San Jose Sharks color scheme would've matched that!
At best he shouldn't at least known some would question his decision, no matter how silly he thinks those critics are.
At least it was a team from the AFC.
