Who is in favor for a Los Angeles NFL team?

The league is stupid for not making this their numero uno priority. it is the second largest market in the USA.

Only if they move a franchise. I hope they don't ever exceed 32 teams.

Problem is, I can only see a handful of teams making the move. Maybe the Raiders, Bills, Saints, or Titans. Small chance for the Panthers or Jags. Even smaller for the Falcons or Cards.

I just don't see it.

Won't happen. L.A. is just like it's celebrity couples-as much as they can't hold a decent relationship, Los Angeles can't keep a football team. They're the Paris Hilton of the NFL scene.

Why cant they hold an NFL team?

An NFL team just needs a market so enough people watch the games, so they can keep themselves paid.

The raiders left because they had no choice, but really wanted to stay. I can understand the rams leaving to greener pastures

But seriously where else can the NFL make cash

I wonder whether it has anything to do with the lack of an up-to-date stadium.

Shhh! LA THINKS they DO have an NFL team. It's called USC.

But seriously though, this is just blind justice to me. Props to the real fans out there. You can have 8 million people, but that doesn't mean that you'll pack a stadium on a consistent basis. And if you don't get the place a rockin, it's boring. It's got no soul.

LA had it at one time. I was kind of a Rams fan back in the day. Lawrence McCutcheon (sp?? I don't care. I ain't got time to google today), Jack AND Jim Youngblood, Cullen Bryant, Pat Haden, I thing there was some Irvin or Irving-a receiver at one time, Oh yeah-Nolan Cromwell!, Wendal Tyler, etc. Has-Been Actors don't count! This kind of thing became the downfall of the NFL in LA and damaged the league! Once you you start awarding NFLers shots on the Big Screen, they go and start commiting horrid crimes and getting away with it! Allegedly-er probably! Just keep the actors on that side of the 405 and put the athletes down in DogTown or something. Put the new stadium right out on the P.O.P!

Remind the West Coast that Football is not a gang, it's a sport!

If you don't send the Jags out there, it ain't gonna work. They got to have a GOOD team, not the Raiders!

Wow! Spoken like a TRUE Bronco Fan! Very Nice.

If you go and mess with Buffalo or the Aints, us True Blue- Straight-Up Football fans are gonna boycott the sport faster than a pack of Dogs on a 3-legged cat!

Was that supposed to be a crack or something against LA? If it was, more power to you.

This is a sports thread about LA's need for an NFL team. The cracks in the post are merely a culmination of some cracks I've heard on the subject over the last year or so-along with some of my own thoughts and experience.

I thought it was funny. That was my main goal.
