Panthers are now 4-6, playoffs now look like a slim hope.

Nah. I think he's a good coach who's gotten behind because of injuries. Delhomme means a lot more to the Panthers than they thought before, and everyone knows Carr and Testeverde are just placeholders at this point. With Steve Smith out also, and the wide outs (Jarrett, Colbert, Drew Carter, who in their own right are no superstars) playing lacklusterly (just look at that pass to Jarrett in the end zone he dropped), it's really not opening holes in the running game, and honestly, if the passing game was effective, they would have an awesome combination in DeAngelo and DeShaun.

On defense, having Morgan out can't be helpful either.

Fox is a good coach. If the team's bad next year with all their personnel back, it might then be time to make a change for the 2009 season.

i think john fox should be spared. if anyone should lose their job it should be the GM. making david carr your backup? releasing keyshawn johnson? injuries cant really controlled by fox either espically delhomme's.
