He already has 15 through the first 6 games of the season.

The record is held by George Blanda with 42 passes picked off in 1962.

Hmmm, tough start for him. I don't think he'll get close to 40 though! I keep thinking they'll flip the switch and turn this season around but then again maybe not!

42 seems like an unbreakable record even for a scrub QB. As bad as Eli has been I would be surprised if he threw more than 32 or so.

And Blanda did that in only 14 games. Makes it that much worse. His numbers were crazy. He had two games with 6 Ints each. That is more than some QBs throw all season. Here are the Ints per game for Blanda that year:

6,4,1,3,1,0,6,1,4,4,2,5,2,3

True, but Blanda played 26 seasons and is in the HOF.

I don't see it happening.

That was whole different era of football, wouldn't shock me if there were some extenuating circumstances surrounding that like he played hurt all season to get a bonus or the owner sold off all the linemen to another team and then put together open tryouts etc.

I don't think it will happen, Week 7 is turning point for Giants.

Starting from Vikings they will start the game in different style. I think NYG will get their first win this week.

That's what people have been saying since Week 3. That said, I did pick them over MIN this week.
