Honestly though. If the TNF thing is going to stay, have better matchups. All of them are a bore. MNF football is now SNF on NBC. Today's MNF sucks.

why hate on London ? its no further NY -London than NY-LA ....plus they are getting good crowds...its a precursor to a London NFL franchise when the league expands, Goodell sees the $$$$ that can roll in from Europe. the London crowds are knowledgeable and enthusiastic.........unlike some places

I will say this - the Thursday night product is questionable from an entertainment standpoint.

Carolina/TB - 31-13 - yuck - glad the fall baseball team I coach had practice on Thursday.

Has there been one competitive game on Thursday?

Pats/Jets - 13-10 - wk 2 - that's it - and that was a substandard effort.

the best thing about putting a team in London is that it will annoy several million soccer fanatics

I enjoy games outside of Sunday as long its its one at a time. When its your team playing it feels special especially when its a home game. As far as London. I had a great time there when the Broncos played, even though we lost, so I say keep it up. I would go again if Denver was playing there.

I don't mind the Thursday night games, even though I know they are a challenge to the teams involved. I love Monday Night Football, and Sunday Night Football. I hate the London series. I hope whoever replaces Goodell puts a stop to this London idiocy.

Look, the NFL in England is stupid, I'll give ya that.

But everything else the OP posted (which btw, he hasn't posted anything since) is way off.(Mod edit-one sentence deleted)

If the NFL wanted to play night football with games starting between 8 and 9 PM, they should do so on nights when people do not have school/work the next day and can stay up and WATCH them. Particularly to grow the next generation of fans with appealing to the kids.

I wish the two teams playing Thursday night were both coming off of there bye.

Obviously not an option at the beginning of the year or the end but for about 6 or 7 weeks there in the middle we could get consistent good football.
