Will it matter if he doesn't win a championship this season?

Are you saying they will put an asterisk next to his stats in the H.O.F? Because I don't think they will. So yes they will probably still count.

You know what people remember most about the 2007 Patriots? 18-1.

I'm a Colts fan, so you're on a road I've already travelled. No doubt Manning will go in the Hall. And when it happens, I hope to drive to Canton to see it. But you can't begin a discussion about Peyton's stats without the conversation eventually turning to one particular stat - 9-11.

All about stats these days, it gets very old, very fast. One qtr. of the games done, everyone is so hyped on the Broncos, on the Seahawks, on what Peyton Manning is doing, and more power to him, good for him. He'll have a great season, maybe the best stats, but at this point, why even guess after 4 games?

I see. Well hopefully then Peyton can turn that 9-11 into 12-11 and then perhaps he can avoid the asterisk.

I absolutely love Peyton Manning... You could call it a man crush! But it's no secret that he is very average in the playoffs.... No doubt, he's an amazing QB during the regular season but leaves a lot to be desired in the playoffs. I'll be cheering for him to change that trend before retiring.

I'm hoping he does the very best this season, he is amazing to watch, no doubt about it. I just think it is early to think stats in this stats crazy NFL. I'm hoping the Broncos march on and Peyton gets to the Super Bowl.

I think he's going to get 53 touchdowns during the regular season, along with 5,400 yards passing.

Those numbers might drop drastically if they are at 13-0 with three games to play. What Denver needs is home field advantage through the playoffs, and I think this year 13-3 or 14-2 will do that in the AFC.

This team is LOADED with weapons. If everyone stays healthy, they are going to be a matchup nightmare.

This year it seems like 12-4 might be good enough for home field in the AFC. Then again maybe the Broncos should hope for the Colts or Texans to have home field so Peyton can play in a dome. Or maybe the Chargers in 72'F San Diego.
