Sure. He gets a spot as having the longest kick in NFL history in a domed stadium where there was no wind and/or elevation to aid the kicker.

Does anyone even suggest that the longer kicks outside were not attempted with a helping wind? When you look at the distance where they don't even make the attempt into the wind, you know it is a major factor. I wouldn't be surprised if no one surpasses Tucker's kick (in a domed stadium) in the next 50 years.

Yes. It happens. Tucker hit one in warm-ups in Detroit. They have a dome, you know. Not in a game, but it's certainly proof-of-concept. And the Arena Football League record is 63 yards (you do know they all play indoors, right?).

Can a NFL kicker make a 70-yard field goal? Baltimore’s Justin Tucker thinks it can happen.
Of course, he's right - it can happen. The main problem here is there will be so few attempts.

That said, the longest possible field goal is via an (extraordinarily rare) fair catch kick. During a fair catch kick, there is no snap and the opposing team is not allowed to defense the kick. This means the hold is perfect, the kicker can take a longer than usual running start, and he can drive it low (to maximize distance by not lofting it).

The problem here is the extreme rarity of the fair catch kick - in the last 30 years, there have only been six attempted in the NFL.
