He got the job done yesterday.

Romo was having a good season...too bad. I don't see the Cowboys having the chemistry with Orton, good break for
Philly...The cowboys are done unless they play some smash mouth football and go with the run game. If they can RUN
against Philly, it could be a game..On any given Sunday!

As in helping them watch the playoffs from home.

That certainly takes some intrigue out of the game next week.

So ESPN is stating he's out for the season, FOX Sports is staying he's still day-to-day. I trust FOX more than ESPN, so I'll take FOX's word.

I'm pretty sure Romo is done. It's common strategy for organizations to throw out conflicting reports attempting to split the opposing team's game planning focus.

Romo's loss is a huge blow for the Cowboys chances. Then again, we've never seen Orton play QB with actual offensive weapons around him. Wasn't Devin Hester his "WR1" during his time in Chicago with no Matt Forte either. I think Marshall was already gone when he was traded to Denver.

Certainly not suggesting that Orton is the answer, but I do see parallels to this Cowboys team and the Vikings. The Vikings were very successful against the Eagles with a veteran journeyman QB, arguably less talent at WR, a horrible defense and, oh by the way, no AP.

I'm really upset about this. Obviously I'm biased as a Redskins fan ( ), but I'm tired of Tony Romo constantly getting passes for choking late in the season. Yes he was clutch in that game Sunday for the win against the god awful Redskins defense. But Romo's of stepping up and being "clutch" are few and far between. Back to back seasons in 2011 and 2012, Romo had a chance to win the NFC East in week 17. He lost both games.

He set it up for a third year in a row to win the division in the final game of the season, and he goes down. So if the cowboys lose, it will be because Romo didn't play, so he'll get a pass. I'm tired of this dude getting praise. Yes, when he's good, he's really good. But when Romo is bad, he's really bad. I want him to seal his own fate this Sunday. Either win it and finally step up for Dallas, or lose, crash and burn, and have the entire country finally admit that Romo chokes when it matters most.

And you can't make excuses about how bad Dallas' defense is, because teams like the Broncos and Patriots have horrible defenses this year and are still winning games.

They are listing him as day to day, but as someone who has this same injury, there is no way in hell he plays Sunday. When I had the same lower back injury, it took me 30 minutes just to roll over in bed. The swelling is still increasing at this time and a herniated disk does not just slip back into place and then stay there. No professional medical doctor will clear him much-less would he be able to play.

The Cowboys offense will be ok with Orton, (par for the course) it's their non existing defense that will lose this game. They got scab rejects off the street that couldn't even make an NFL practice squad, starting out there. The Eagles will run away with this game. I'm the biggest diehard Cowboys fan out there, but this years team is just way too banged up, mixed up and not a playoff worthy team at this point. If we were mid-season health wise, I would say we would be capable of beating any team out there, but not now. The product they will put out there this Sunday (due to injuries) will unravel and could very well be one of the leagues worst teams at this moment in time.
