I personally cant understand it.....

and even if I didn't watch it, I got a certain amount of pride knowing my conference beat the other guys. Braggin' rights with friends that my team was in the toughest conference.....that's fan kinda stuff.

But now they're all mixed up??? Team Deion and Team Jerry??

I don't like this already........

So what do you guys think?

The last Pro Bowl I watched was in the mid 90s. It's a meaningless game that players don't care about. As such, I don't care. It does sound stupid, though.

Let's ditch the pro bowl and instead have the College National Champs play the NFL's worst team. Well that is if you want anyone to watch the game as the probowl is a worthless game (seriously only 50k to play a game when these guys could get a career ending injury anytime they step out onto the field, it's no wonder that they hug instead of tackle and go 3/4 speed).

They just took a game that nobody cared about and made it completely useless. Who is going to care about an NFL pickup game? At least with the old format you could pretend to have a reason to root for one of the teams. Now they are picking players and someone, despite being a Pro Bowler, will be selected last. Just seems like an unnecessary embarrassment for the guy.

Nope. The Pro Bowl is the most contrived and pointless of all the all star games. It jumped the shark about 20 years ago.

They should make it a golf tournament.

I voted NO. I don't care about the Pro Bowl. I never watch it. I wish they'd kill this turkey.

Should the Pro Bowl be killed? Go here and vote if you haven't already done so.

I wish they'd make the Pro Bowl mean something and for god's sake, have it AFTER the Superbowl...
