Greg Schiano? lol. Actually, I'd be concerned as a Packers fan if they did hire Schiano.

Rumor mill is churning......

Whisenhunt is the talk of the town.

IMHO, he deserves another chance as a head coach. Poor guy didn't have a QB in his last two seasons here in AZ.

Thank you. I get so sick of having to resort to rooting for any team that is playing one of our AFC North rivals that made it to the playoffs, because I hate them that much, and our team didn't make it! It would be nice (like in the 80s) to be able to root for the Browns, and not care what our rivals do or don't do, because we're gonna kick their a**es anyway! Yes they came up short back then, but make no mistake they were one heartbeat away from the Super Bowl at that time and it was a Hell of a lot better feeling than it is now! Sports are supposed to be a good way to relieve stress. Watching the Browns has become more stressful than they're worth! Sure your team is more than likely not going to win every year, but for Christ sakes once in awhile would be nice! I mean look at the Giants. They suck for awhile, then show up win a Super Bowl every couple of years, suck again, and then will more than likely be back in the hunt in another year or two! Sure it ain't New England, or Pittsburgh, but it's a better track record than we've had since this team came back!

That was his own fault though

He also never really got the smart & disciplined thing down - which is hurting the Lions

I think he's a good coach though and would be able to work well with Stafford and that offense - if he brought back Ray Horton from the Cleveland scrap heap (if Cleveland actually releases him at some point) then that could be a pretty good duo of coaches for the Lions

Just make sure you have a strong GM in front of him and keep him away from the personnel decisions

I've never really understood why they refer to a coach being dismissed as a "firing". For most people, getting canned is a catastrophic life event. Feelings of depression and uncertainty are rampant. "How will I put food on the table?" "How do I explain this to future employers?" "What will I need to sell to stay afloat?" Every one of these coaches will pop right into another HC or coordinator position within days or weeks, either at the pro or collegiate level and do so making the high six figures (if not over a million). Fail. Rinse. Repeat.

Anyway, that's what's running through my mind as I read these news reports. Ho-hum.

Or in Chud's case, he'll get paid millions to sit on his a**! I'm quite sure that the Browns still have Shurmur and Mangini on their payroll. Though Shurmur is the OC in Philly.

I'm guessing that you hate the Ravens.

As a Lions' fan that grew up in the U.P. of Michigan, I've had to endure the never ending teasing from Packer fans. Cuz half of the people I know root for the green & yellow. Not to mention that I married a Cheesehead.

Wearing my blue & silver at Soldier Field.....you'd think that I'd get beat up.

Nope. Bears' fans are nice to me and buy me beer. They truly feel sorry for me.

Yes. But honestly I hate the Steelers more. We have a ton of their fans in northeast Ohio. There are virtually no Ravens or Bengals fans around here.
