For not speaking with the media in 2013. Should only fuel his BEAST MOD STATUS.

Forcing players to talk to the media.

Why? Lol.

Just like with most other jobs out there, isn't that the job of management?

This makes me sick. Players want to show personality and develop interests outside of football and they get accused of being "a distraction" and "not being focused", but Lynch, who for personal reasons might not be comfortable being grilled by the media, does this and gets fined for not speaking to these leeches and jackals. Screw that, at this right I really might give up on American sports by 2020.

I look at it a little different...

Marshawn made 5 million dollars this year guaranteed....(paid for in part by the outlandish ticket prices the NFL charges), and people are siding with him because he doesn't give the media 10 minutes of his time after a game? Is it that much to ask?

jeez....

50K is what he uses for toilet paper....he's worth multi-millions.....

Given how the media talks about them, I don't blame him at all.

It is in every player and every coaches contract they must talk to the media. Why do you think coaches and players who just got their butts kicked talk? they don't want to, they would rather hide in shame, but they signed the contract. The NFL is selling a product, and pat of the sales pitch is everyone is available to the media...
If you don't wish to speak to the media, don't sign a contract and find a different way to make a living.
That goes for ALL professional sports, it's in every contract..!!

They since suspended the fine. If he meets his obligations to the press he won't have to pay it. If he refuses again he will pay the $50k plus another $50k.

They had to hold back the fine once they saw this gem from NFL Japan ..... they sent a correspondent over to talk candy with him and it features him trying out different kinds ........ some really odd and funny stuff, also their production is something else as well

Has a good sense of humor in this one
