Not an AFC Championship Game possibility.

Amen!! I think a lot of folks are burnt out hearing about these two teams and would love to see them both lose.... Not to mention both of these teams have very shaky defenses!

Good point and when it comes down to crunch time, defense does matter! Packers hung in with 49ers because their D stepped up and then offense sputtered plus defense lost 3 more players during the game. I question whether they had 46 players to field. As much as I love watching awesome throws, defense is going to do it this time, I think.

Usually playoffs are all about who has the best defense.

AFC is strange this year. The Bengals had the best defense in the AFC & they lost. The other 5 teams are in the bottom 8 in the AFC for defense. Chargers, Chiefs, & Pats go 13, 14, & 15. Jaguars were 16th, & had the worst defense.

Patriots always seem to pick up their defense in the playoffs though.

You're forgetting about Uncle Roger's plan to make defense illegal.

That matchup would be pretty lame, as I'm a Pats hater, so I'm pulling for the Colts this weekend.

People overrate the Pats in the playoffs anyway. It isn't 2005 anymore.

I think the Broncos would have their way with the Pats the second time around. I don't think the Pats beat Denver; I think Denver beat themselves, and I think that the Broncos are just a bad match-up for New England no matter how many times they play. Yes, I know they lost, but that won't happen again.

What's much less certain though is whether either of those teams make it to the AFC Title Game. Both are going to have their hands full this weekend and they'd be foolish to look even a moment past their match-up this weekend.

Seahawks definitely but Chargers is really questionable seeing their record in playoffs.
