Probably because none of the players except D.J Williams were starters, and none of them save for Virgil Green (a rarely used blocking tight end) are still on the team.

I agree with Kaepernick yet again.
"To me, it was ridiculous," Kaepernick said. "But if that's what you need to do to make yourself feel like a better player, you have to tell everyone, I'm the best corner in the league, go ahead and tell them." NFL Playoffs - Colin Kaepernick calls Richard Sherman behavior ridiculous - ESPN

Basically it makes fans question if Sherman is the best when he has to scream it on TV. Or when he went on ESPN First Take where he repeatedly had to tell them that he's the best & then personally insult the host when he disagrees. Nice track record.

Do you see Adrian Peterson screaming in interviews that he's the best running back?

Von Miller is still on the team and since people like to harp on the non-PED suspensions for Seattle and lump everything together then it's a goose/gander situation

They also traded for John Moffit from Seattle who made the awful sin of not filing the proper paperwork with the league to take a legally prescribed substance because a combintiona of the NFL lockout messing up the normal offseason, him not having his contract signed for the first day of camp when such things were addressed and his agent being a dope

Other massive violators on Seattle include someone like Allen Barbre who tested positive before joining the team and was cut after the result was found, a practice squad RB/FB in Vai Tua, a deep bench Safety that is now a backup on the Jaguars in Winston Guy

People will push the story even though there is only 1 player on the team that has a PED related suspension (Bruce Irvin) and a couple with substance abuse or personal conduct policy suspension in their background (Lynch, Thurmond)

They would have another guy in both buckets if you counted Brandon Browner as being on the team (which he isn't) - however, it would then be fair to note that he entered the leagues substance abuse program upon being signed by a certain team as a rookie ........ the Denver Broncos

Von Miller is out and the Broncos' defense has just somehow played better. I'm glad he is out due to his stupidity over and over again at the beginning of the season.

After looking at Lynch's camera appearance yesterday or whenever it was, I think he should be tested for PEDs based on his more-than-just-shy behavior. He seemed like he was trippin' to me.

Adrian Peterson? - He's just a modern day slave...................

As for Kaepernicks comments - they're pretty funny

First it shows how effective Sherman has gotten into his head - that's the whole point of talking to someone, you want to exploit them being of weak mind to get them off their game and into your game ..... he wisely chose to challenge Sherman only 2x in the NFC Championship game - Sherman would love to see more opportunities, especially forced one, because he's had a lot of success coming up with plays against him

Guy gets a solid week and a half to think of something to say, but still couldn't look off his first read for his lines

Does it make Kaepernick feel better about himself to do bicep kisses everytime he scores? To mock Cam Newton while defeating his team? To trash talk the Packers after beating them?

Another gem: "He's afraid of our receivers, and that's something I'm looking forward to (exploiting) next year." ............ That is why you targeted him on a total of two plays, one of which he helped turn into an Int. That is why in the first game he demanded to shadow Boldin and held him to a single reception. That's why over half of your interceptions this year came against the Seahawks ........ keep challenging

"If I throw that ball one foot farther, it's a touchdown and now you're the goat, Richard Sherman" Kaepernick said. .......... yeah, except you didn't. What you did do is turn the ball over on your final 3 possessions, which a tremendous effort from your defense helped overcome to even put you in position to ultimately fall short. It's also simply not true - you had a larger receiver, with better jumping and high point skills have a WR pinned to the sideline ........ there was no good place to put that pass, the best bet would have to been to throw it short and hope for back shoulder type play, but that was well covered ........... that play is about angles and short of dropping the ball from a blimp it would be a tough completion

Guy is 1-3 against Seattle, has completed 52% of his passes against them, has thrown 3 TDs against 7 interceptions and puts up 175 yards per game while being outscored to 111 to 52 in those 4 games

Probably not the time to be talking, eh?

I get a kick out of all the talking AFTER games and on a big stage. It isn't like Kaep was blowing teams out and winning by huge margins this year! Talk is cheap and next year will be another interesting year!

His play at the end of the NFC Championship confirmed he was the best since he played a huge role in the interception.

Default Richard Sherman is an American hero

The image of a brash young black man, the best shutdown CB in the game today, a Stanford graduate from Compton, loud, proud, passionate, and intense, effective, and a key component of his team's championship season as a student of the game, is a sore spot for the type of people who thought OJ was guilty before any evidence came out. These people favored the Broncos, wanted desperately for hero Peyton to put that brother in his place. Didn't happen.

Sherman has been confirmed as the best in the game. Peyton avoided throwing to the receiver he covered for most of the night. As soon as Sherman was hurt and taken out of the game, Manning tried to hit the receiver who was covered by Sherman's replacement. One could almost sense a sigh of relief on the Broncos sideline when Sherman went out injured.

The pathetic media didn't interview Sherman after the game. They just showed him standing silently on crutches while waiting for the end of the game. That image of Sherman pacified the bigots. This man is articulate and a real asset to the game. His story is one that should be revered, as a black man who rose out of Compton to excel at the highest level. It is said that a black man has to work twice as hard to get half as much. Imagine how hard Sherman worked to reach the pinnacle.

The treatment of him by the media and a certain segment of this society is not a negative reflection on Sherman, but on our society. Richard Sherman's story is the greatest of American stories. Sherman is the true hero.
