It's so cute when Angelenos act like anyone in that town cares about any team aside from the Lakers and Trojans.
You're also forgetting the Dodgers, Clippers, Kings, and UCLA, and Galaxy. Then you have the Angels and to a lesser extent the Ducks.

I didn't forget them. It's just that no one in LA really cares about those teams.

LA sports fans do care about the Dodgers. Their probably the 2nd most popular team after the Lakers. I'm willing to bet that the Dodgers are even more popular than USC.

I've heard from many Angelenos that they care. I guess those who don't care also don't care about those who do care.

This.

The cult members believe USC is the equivalent of an NFL team. The rest of Los Angeles knows that college is college and the NFL is the NFL. I'd LOVE to see the Rams return to L.A.

Wasn't one of the two proposed sights for the new stadium right in the heart of downtown across from Staples?

Was it not the case that the latest attempt to build a downtown LA NFL stadium had Farmer's insurance willing to put up $800M in naming right and the deal still fell through?

I think the Rams should move back to LA. Georgia F, really screwed the Ram fans when she moved the team to her hometown after the Cardinals left St. Louis. She had an agenda and she did it, stripping the LA Ram fans of their team. She purposely let it out that she wanted to move the Rams so that the fan attendance would drop to futher "justify" her moving the team. She didn't market the team as well, had Carrol Rosenbloom not drowned in the swimming accident, the Rams would never have moved to St. Louis.

I think it is right for the Rams to move back to LA. I also think it would be a great financial move for the current Rams owner to move his team back to the 2nd largest market in the country.

When you think that the Dodgers averaged over 46,000 people a game, it shows Los Angeles will support a winner. And when the Lakers come back to championship contending, they will be sellout Staples like they always have in the past. With that being said the Lakers are still drawing fans, just not selling out every game like they usually do.

Why is 32 the magic number for pro teams in the USA? We 25 NFL teams when the nation had HALF as many people.
