One of the most "laughable" things I heard yesterday is when someone said this was the greatest defense EVER in the NFL. Now THAT is laughable.....
While I agree that anyone claiming they are the best defense ever is nonsense, it has to be up there for defensive performances in a super bowl.

There was no offensive performance. So the defensive performance was easy. I am not surprised that there are investigations the game was fixed. For the NFL's most prolific offense to not show up in that game was, to put it mildly, suspicious.

If it was fixed, Goodell would've shut the power off like he did last year.

And Peyton would've won to cement his legacy and the entire Broncos team.

The number 1 offense faced the number 1 defense, and the defense came out on top.

Not the first time it happened, and I doubt it's the last.

The defense came out on top? You make it sound like there was actually a contest. No one is surprised Seattle won this "game". What is surprising is that Denver did not show up.

They couldn't show up. There was a brick wall in their way.

Erase all of Denver's serious mistakes, what is your score then?

not that simple; the mistakes are what drove the momentum

The Broncos just played poorly from the opening second to the last second of the game. You just cant sugarcoat their dismal performance and can only chalk it up as a good old fashion beat down. It also didn't help that they were playing a dominating defense in every phase of the game, that they had no answer for and could not adjust during half time. Poor performance vs a #1 dominating defense = a blowout all day long. These guys are really going to be nasty next season. I'm a steelers fan forever but I have no problem giving credit where it is due. I just hope we don't have these guys on our schedule next season, lol.
