He is also credited as one of the guys who got arena football going as he was heavily involved with Chicago's franchise team. He was involved in a lot of other sports related things in the Chicago area, he and Ed O'Bradovich had a radio show for years. In the Gale Sayers/Dick Butkus one hour bio on A Football Life, he and O'Bradovich provided some great insight about the two. He did the same thing on the one hour bio on Brian Piccolo on ESPN's Sport century series, which was done in 2000. A lot of quality commentary there, suggesting to me he knew Piccolo better than the other Bear teammates.
