Pretty much everybody thinks that Jerry Jones is the worst. I don't care or never cared for Jones at all. I also think that Phil Savage is an idiot.
Not people who look at results and not personalities.. As I said I'm a Redskins fan and I hate the son of a *****. But people are confusing the issue here. JJ is an arrogant A-hole and is easy to hate. But to say he is the WORST GM while sporting a .500 record with multiple playoff appearances is just nuts. There are dozens of contenders who have never come close to .500 let alone the playoffs.
Jerry Jones is not among the worst GMs. He actually does get talent, but he's the NFL's Indian giver. What he giveth with talent selection and good contract structuring, he taketh away with his enormous ego and meddling. He's not the worst yet, but he's gradually descending.
Actually his name is up there as well as Matt Millen.
To attribute the Vikings Purple People Eater "culture" to Jim Finks and not Bud Grant demonstrates how little you know about football in general and the Vikings in particular.
I see you are insulting to other posters besides me .
If they could make it to 4 Super Bowls before even being in the league for 20 years, how lousy are the GM's since then because in the last 37 years they have not even been there once.
Until Jerry Jones creates a roster that goes 0-16, he is not the worst.
Matt Millen. Worst GM ever.
Well, we all know Matt Millen was the worst GM in NFL history, but Jerry Jone's name is up there on the list despite having talent as well as any Browns GM when the franchise returned in 1999.

Yes very true. However; the jury is still out on the Browns new GM Ray Farmer. Time will tell. If the team progresses, he'll be the toast of the town. If not, like the rest he'll be out on his can in a few short years.
