I remember it kept the 10-6 Giants out of the playoffs and the 10-6 Packers in, they went on to win the SB! They were the 6th seed and beat the Eagles at Lincoln.

It was also the playoffs where the NFC West was so bad the 7-9 Seahawks won the division and went on to beat the Saints.
The Jets beat the Patriots that year.

When you think of the playoffs each year, it is kind of amazing how it shakes out sometimes.

I especially remember the first Eagles vs Packers matchup that season (2010). It was week 1 & Clay Matthews was an absolute beast that game. By halftime he took Kolb out of the game & went on to have 3 sacks.

The Eagles game in the wildcard was the Packers closest battle (scoreboard wise) of the entire super bowl run.

Sadly, I also remember 4th & 26.

was 4th and 27 but who is counting; Was really Freddie Mitchells only big play before he went on to survivor or some other show

I also think Freddie Mitchell was roommates with Chase Utley from the Phillies in college - a very interesting odd couple

So many great games and finishes in the NFL - sort of what makes the NFL so great, sadly not all positive for any specific fan but a great game none-the-less

This proves how forgotten he really was to me except for the catch. I forgot he spelled it Freddie instead of Freddy.

Yuck...I sure remember that play! I also remember the punter: Matt Dodge, whom the Giants drafted. The Giants got rid of him and I dont think he punted in the NFL anymore after that season.

OK, I agree that most of these do seem to go the Eagles way...but let me put a little balance on it:
