I cant believe that Dallas released Ware. I'm a Gaints fan, so I am glad to see him out of the division--heck, out of the conference--but I think he still has a lot left in the tank.

As in NO GM, lol...Ware will be missed but honestly players at his position at his age tend to decline and he has been kinda ghost for a while..albeit he was injured but still. I do think he will play hard though for one to prove to Dallas what they let go of and for 2 he wants a chance at finally getting a title...he deserves it..he played hard for the majority of his career..total beast!

To me, the important comparison is him against his fellow D-squad members. If he's a harder worker, then his stats compared to earlier seasons don't demonstrate his work ethic and character. I'm assuming anyone interested in him looks at character behavior. Like Marshawn Lynch: "I'm all about the action, Boss".

I actually am VERY happy to see Ware leave. Yes it was mostly cap problems. But his production was falling the last two years and he's getting up there in age. He may have a year or two left. But that's about it for him. He was getting handled one on one.

According to ProFootballTalk, the Cowboys are interested in signing Brandon Weedon to be their backup QB.
