Chris Johnson agrees to two-year deal with New York Jets - ESPN New York

So what do you say, he got anything left in the tank?

It addresses one of their needs, but I don't see how it's a game changer. The Jets are still a hot mess. They added Vick, and although he's an upgrade over Geno, I don't think it's gonna be enough to get them over the hump.

Jets are grasping at straws, I think. Several teams seem to be in a win now or never mode.

Yeah the Jets seem to be, well, the Mets. Every big name has been seems to be linked to the Jets. Don't get me wrong, for the money this is a solid signing. But CJ is no game changer anymore, he is wildly inconsistent who will tease fans. Wait, kind of like Michael Vick.

Yeah good luck with that.

I don't think he was brought in to be a "game changer"... if I'm correct though the contract is for 2 years and what, 9 million? Not a bad investment for a guy that could potentially put up nice figures. I think Johnson and Ivory will be a good 1-2 punch for them.

They still need a WR though... Eric Decker is no #1... I have to figure they're relying on the draft for that.
