The NFL team owners are getting very serious about adopting new rules.
New rule.- When a player scores a touch down, the player will no longer be permitted to jump up to the goal post cross bar and dunk the ball over the bar.
Players using the 'N' word. No new rule. Using the 'N' word will be addressed with using existing rules.

They should focus less on this stuff like this, and more on their garbage ass officiating.

Frankly I'm getting sick of this whole "Line-of-Scrimmage" BS, Always trying to force their boundaries and separation!

And the huddle has to go too!

No dunks? What exactly does that do for fans? Exactly what do these owners think of fans?

To the owners, football is a business. An accountant doesn't jump up from his desk and dunk his P&L statement when it balances. This ain't no friggin GAME, yanno.

The only other reason I can think of is to prevent a player from hurting himself while celebrating in the end zone. It's happened before. It's a pretty stupid way to get hurt.

Reading this and shaking my head. How DO you become a peanut gallery for owners? You got mainly guys who have figured some way to pile up wealth, and suddenly they become sports experts? And if I make a lot of money selling cars, how does that make me an expert in an entertainment business?

The No Fun League is alive and well. Not sure why touchdown celebrations are so bad for the sport, when you have personal attention getting celebrations, trash talking, and other acts going on all over the rest of the field after all kinds of plays.

Maybe they should focus on things like coming up with a better idea for kickoffs than the current, virtually automatic touchback.

Today- Commish said there may be one or two teams added to play off games. So it looks like we will see 8-8 and 7-9 teams playing for the Super bowl. Hey commish, we know it's all about the money.
