It's exciting to see what GM Steve Keim has done in only a little over a year, along with coach Bruce Arians! Here we are on the eve of the draft, and the Cards have signed the right free agents to put the team in a "best pick" position. Arians says that they have no dire needs that are critical for the team, and therefore they can be free to pick the best athletes and players on the draft board, no matter what the position. Just look at what he did in the draft last year by picking Mathieu and also Ellington, who ended the year with the best yards per carry in the NFL. And the other picks, like Cooper and Minter are healed and ready to go. All of last years injuries are ready to play, with the exception of Tyraan Mathieu, but even he may be ready for the regular season, just missing pre-season. The O-Line improvement is going to be a major surprise to other teams, and Carson Palmer should have much more time to pick apart defenses while having an all-pro year. That same line is also going to prove to be a beast with the run. The defense will be just as good, and maybe better than the stellar D we had last year. Any draftee who hears his name called by the Cardinals will know that he is a lucky guy to be on this team!

With the improvement done last year, and the end of the year run they had after the offense finally started to gel, this year should start off on all cylinders and many of the sports reporters have the Cards at 7-1 at the halfway point. They are in an excellent position to place themselves in the playoffs with home field advantage, which can, and possibly will make them the first team in the NFL to have the Super Bowl be a home game! Go Cards!!

There is a team thread for the Cardinals, you might want to post this there, more responses! It is the Red Zone, you can ask for the name to be changed to the Red Machine, might be possible.
