My take on Rivers is that he seems to have lost a step or two, seems a little off or slower. I think he has put on a brave face with this move but I think it's taken its toll. But he's such a competitor, he'll never give up trying to lead the team to have a successful season in spite of all the obstacles in front of them. I've been a Charger fan for 4O years so this is painful to watch. They have always been a fun, exciting team to watch and I hope fans will give them a chance. They never should have gone with these expensive ticket prices...more greed from the owner. Lower the prices and get people into those seats.

Agreed on Rivers. Philip Rivers is the quarterback fans love to hate. He also is the quarterback with a passion for the game like no other. He can throw a pick 6 but 10 minutes later he's on your 5 yard line. He is a true competitor who just doesn't give up.

Don't look now, but the Chargers are just 1 game out of a playoff spot in the watered down AFC. They now have the tiebreaker against Buffalo and tiebreaker against the Raiders (though they play them again). Still a long shot, but 6 games left and anything can happen.

The Chargers will probably take the division. Everybody predicted this one, huh?

The Chargers walk into Dallas and pound the Cowboys on Thanksgiving. The offense was moving the ball really well, Rivers had a clean pocket the whole game and the receivers were getting open for him.

Two home comes coming next, against the Browns and Redskins. Two very winnable games.

As far as scoreboard watching, a Ravens loss on Monday night against the Texans would be great. In the Bills/Chiefs matchup, there are positives and negatives to either outcome (Bills are a wildcard contender, Chiefs a division opponent). But overall, we should be rooting for the Bills as the division title is more likely, seeing as we have that matchup at KC in a few weeks.

Another "takin' care of business" Sunday for the Bolts, except this win against the Redskins was more impressive than last week against the Browns. The Defense only allowed 6 offensive points. It was a dominating win start to finish.

Now the big one, on a short week. Saturday night in KC will probably decide the AFC West title. The loser is going to have to get very lucky to sneak in as a 9-7 wildcard team.

Unfortunately the Chargers and Raiders donít have a strong fan presence here. Well, truthfully the Chargers donít have a strong fan presence anywhere. Some team threads are just not that active.
