Congrats from broken hearted Steeler fan. Beloved Steelers got out played, out coached and out smarted. Best of luck next week!

Correct. And in my opinion he was the x-factor in those two Giants Super Bowl victories over the Patriots. In both those games he outcoached Belichick, a rare thing to do.

Coughlin was a real difference maker. When I moved to Jax a little over a year ago I couldn't even find this thread and it had no posts for months. Bortles goes from oblivion to playing in the championship game. Defense is great even though they gave up 42 to the Steelers. We may beat NE next week. This a team on the rise, finally. Go Jags. Coughlin didn't win 2 Super Bowls by accident, he deserves the MVP award.

I dont know why NFL fans keep counting Jacksonville Jaguars out? The defense has been solid most of the season. The sports media has been giving Jacksonville as a city such a hard time for so long. Mainstream sports media wishing and hoping the Jaguars would leave Jacksonville for Los Angeles & London. When you see happy Jaguars fans or fans gloating, its not about teasing other fan bases. Its about the constant put downs from casual fans and mainstream media.

Congrats to the First Coast... I think you have a shot against the Pats.

Of course they do. Any team that makes it this far deserves it. It's not luck, it's earned. As a Pats fan it didn't matter to me if the Steelers or Jags won because I would have been concerned with either. Now that I know the opponent, I'm concerned about the defense. And now certainly can't wave off an offense who just put up 45 against the Steelers and Heinz.

I'm not a fan or a hater of the Jags....I think most people however are right in this case to be skeptical of Jax since up until this year they've been pretty horrible (5-11 in '15 and 3-13 last year).

Look, kudos to them punching the Steelers in the mouth and Bortles really stepping up. I think even the most biased Jacksonville fan is somewhat surprised they've made it this far.....

The media ignored them all year because they're Jacksonville. Put this entire roster in a Giants uniform and the stellar defense would have been oft discussed. Jacksonville is a consistent QB away from being a team set up to dominate for a few years.

lol, as are many other teams...Houston was looking like that until Watson got hurt. You can say that about Denver, etc....

You are 100% correct, they were ignored because they are Jacksonville. Unfortunately the Jags have done nothing before this year to warrant the attention.

Again, its not an argument, just being objective.....

I HOPE they give the Patriots a game of it. They are flying high with confidence right now. Pittsburgh made a huge mistake underrating them. Do I think the Pats will? Of course not, Belicheck is too good of a coach for that to happen unlike Tomlin.
