Last year I bought one of the Madden NFL anniversary games which came with a season of Direct TV's online access to NFL games...my husband had a Google Chromecast he could use to replay his laptop's streaming of the game to the flatscreen in our FL house...
We are going there in October and will be there until after New Year's--
any suggestions for how to get access to live games--
we have Verizon cable--and Cowboys are definitely blacked out in preference of Tampa Bay's games--
I have Tunnelbear account if that helps
considered getting a Slingbox for Texas house--but frankly not sure if we are smart enough to install and get it set up w/o totally screwing up our cable setup now...
any suggestions appreciated--just don't get too technical--
think explaining it to your mom or grandma...
I read that a month ago--maybe you didn't --I said we had second home in FL--
it is restricted to people who live in apartment complexes or go to universities or live in a few select cities---none of which we do...
I don't have any suggestions other than I'd rather watch the NFL Redzone channel (which you don't need Directv for) than some boring Jags game. At least you'll get some Cowboys action for part of the afternoon.
I don't know why anyone finds it so complicated that my husband doesn't want to go to a sports bar to watch a football game--
that he wants to watch it at home where there are no noisy people and more comfortable seats...
I guess no one has a workable solution for watching a game not in your cable area...
