Also dumping so-so Sanchez for sucky Smith is stupid.
They need one of those guys who's young (and talented) enough to play for them the next 10-12 years, I don't think they've had one in their history, going back to the Titans at the Polo Grounds.

I don't think it made much sense to put Vick in after halftime when they were down 21-0. He should have been named the starter before the game started.

How do you build a future with a 34 YO QB? They're going no where this year, if Simms is still with them I'd just as soon give him a shot, I have big doubts about Smith.

I felt that when they fell to 1-3 and had 3 games coming up against the chargers, broncos, and pats, that os when vick should have been named the starter. And that's because it was still early enough to save the season but now it looks like it's over as they face the broncos next week.

I felt like Vick could have gotten atleast a win against the chargers or pats if he was named the starter after last week

Problem with the Jets is that they lack talent across the board with the exception of the D-line. Moving to Vick will do them little good, might even cause more trouble because he is a turnover machine.

Can't compare it to the situation the Bills are in because the Bills actually have talent and their back-up is clearly better than their previous starter. Vick really won't be an upgrade over Geno.

He should have been, given Smith missed the meeting on Saturday, but you know Woody Johnson probably mandated he start.

The Jets also have a revolving door of quarterbacks. Many good quarterbacks fall quickly in the jets organization.
I've been a Jets fan since they were the Titans

This all seems like nothing but business as usual
