The Patriots have struggled to beat the Bills before and still won 12+ games. Look, the Pats are in an extremely weak division, and can win 12-13 games whether they're a Super Bowl team or not. It didn't look like they barely beat the Raiders though. They just didn't blow them out.

Everyone knows Flacco made a terrible decision. Like I said, terrible first half to start the season. Since then, they've been very good this year. I expect the game in Cincinnati to be a good game, and there's no reason the Ravens can't win it, especially without Steve Smith dropping 4 passes to start off the game. The Ravens don't have a very tough schedule outside of division play. I thought the game in NO would be tough, but the Saints don't look very good this year. The Bengals, on the other hand, have to play NE and Denver. I would be surprised if the Bengals win the division, to be honest. Their bye also came way too early.

Yeah, I believe the '14 Bengals are legit.. and I think they're a top-2 favorite (w/Denver) to win the AFC.

What I find strange about the Bengals conversation, is how their failure to progress is falling on Dalton (?) Marvin Lewis has been @ their helm for 12 years, with a barely over .500 record. An usual accomplishment of mediocrity in a win-now NFL. If anything, Dalton is probably their best chance to now 'get over the hump'.. but Brady & Manning are still hungry too.. we'll see ~

Well maybe after last year's Super Bowl, the guys in the media will stop saying "the only QBs in the playoffs who can win the SB are Manning, Brady, Rodgers, or Brees."

Bengals need to focus on winning a playoff game first. Baby steps.

Not sure about winning the AFC, but they have a pretty damn good chance of winning in Foxboro Sunday night.

Only if they can get the home field advantage throughout the playoffs because it will be extremely difficult to go into denver in January and beat the Broncos. Still have to pick Denver to win the AFC while they still have peyton manning.

I thought so when the season started...not so much now. Will NE still win the AFC East...I see no reason why not if you look at the other three teams. But I doubt they can make it pass the first round in the playoffs. Look for Brady to retire after this season....

I could see the Bengals having a deep run, especially if they have home field advantage. They currently have the longest home winning streak for regular season play. I was pretty shocked when they lost at home in the playoffs to the Chargers last year. There's enough pressure to win & mind games going on during the playoffs. It doesn't help the Bengals when the media keeps bringing up the playoff record.

Bengals have looked really good so far this year, as expected. They're the only team to hand the Ravens a loss & this was at Baltimore where the Bengals usually don't do well.

They look good so far, but I want to see them play against an elite team before I say they are ahead of the Broncos and Chargers. To me, those two are the class of the AFC right now.

They look really good. I LOVE TO see the Bengals doing well. Bengals and Lions have been two of my favorite teams since Boomer and Barry Sanders. Go Cincinnati Go!
