So I see Rice the wife beater is free to play in the NFL again. as a man who has never hit a women but who watched his Father hit his Mother I hope this POS doesn't get one single offer. however pure realism makes me think teams may be queuing up to sign him.
Back in the UK a soccer club , Sheffield United , offered a convicted rapist a contract. Due to pressure from sponsors they cancelled the contract. lets hope that awaits the wife beater...no doubt some people will say 'he has learned his lesson, don't punish him twice' ....which makes you as stupid as Rice.
If he signed for the redskins , a team I have loved since the early 80s, I would refuse to support them ..........
It sends the message to Roger Goodell that he doesn't get to make up rules on the fly.
No matter what anyone thinks of Ray Rice and his actions, he was punished by the league (who by every credible account had all of the facts at their disposal) and then had his punishment escalated when the last video went public. Goodell's actions clearly violated the league's collective bargaining agreement.
Some team will pick him up and give him a payday. In the meantime, hundreds of thousands of good law abiding males are jobless in this country. Maybe it's true.... God really does love some people....
I have a problem with NFL players on TV and the ad "No More" on abuse and than supporting NFL player accused of abuse. I mean Peterson admitted it and Rice was caught on tape...somehow I sense a lot hypocritical wrangling here.
Well, on the bright side, he beat something other than his wife for once.
