Plus, Greg Schiano was terrible. He was screwed with Josh Freeman. Hue Jackson is awful. There's a reason why Cleveland can't win. He was really bad in Oakland and now he's really bad in Cleveland. I'll also nominate any Browns head coaches since their return in 1999 beginning with Butch Davis. Also many people will say Chan Gailey. Jim Schwartz, guy was an idiot in Detroit. There's reasons why the Lions were undisciplined. Tomsula was also a horrible head coach. I don't think Tomsula should have got the head coaching job anyways after Jim Harbaugh was fired.
I dont doubt any of the people you mentioned...a lot of them were awful. All I am saying is that Childress should be mentioned. He was. I am not saying he is worse than any of those guys except maybe Jackson. The jury is still out, in my opinion, on him. But those other guys were terrible.

Childress always seemed to blow every lead as coach of the Vikingsg. Always also used a timeout after 12th man in the huddle.

The reason why the Browns are 0-8 is because of Jackson. I think this record by far is at least the worst so far in Browns history.

Hue Jackson is far from the reason the Browns are winless. The fact they've been competitive in as many games as they have been should be a feather in Jackson's cap. The reason the Browns are winless is due to a number of things, the main things being: They don't have any consistency on the coaching staff (recycling head coaches every other season isn't the way to build a team), a terrible front office, some God-awful trades, and a failure to draft and develop a franchise-saving QB since they returned to the league in 99.

Jackson's record is 8-15. He has a losing record. The Browns have never had very good coaches since their return.

Let's see the Browns with a competent GM and some NFL caliber players on the field before we put all the blame on the coaches that have been recycled year after year.

Another coach I want to add is Mike Mularkey. Mularkey is awful. He has to be one of the worst. He has a losing record, currently at 22-43 which is well below 500. He could be fired after the season ends.

Another coach that I can think to be one of the worst is Jeff Fisher. His team is just undisciplined.

A lot of coaches on these lists had bad qbs but here's a few that stick out.

Mike Martz- Good coordinator for the situation at the time but lousy head coach. Some of his Rams teams were so talented and he lost some big games with good qb options (Warner, Bulger)

Brad Childress- That 09 Vikings team was so talented but he's also clueless and prone to making the worst in game decisions.

Joe Philbin- Bullygate, enough said

I disagree with Rex Ryan being on this list. Ryan turned around the Jets and made the Bills competitive and looking for a playoff berth for the first time in years. Ryan's teams might have discipline issues every now and then but he gets his team fired up and ready to play every Sunday.
