I agree. Although in his defense here, he had nothing to work with in SF...

And let's be honest here, I personally think this was the wrong move for Jed York. It was a bad idea to promote Jim Tomsula to head coach after firing Jim Harbaugh. And what did Tomsula do? Nothing. And what did Kelly do in SF? Nothing. Worst moves by York. The 49ers, like the Jaguars, need a coach that brings discipline to the team. This ought to be the case for the Rams as well now that Jeff Fisher is gone.

The other thing about Kelly is his overall record in the NFL is 28-35 but his overall record in college is 46-7. He's better in college and since he does not belong in the NFL just like Bobby Petrino.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Kelly get another NFL gig... some team owner will be convinced that if Kelly has his type of QB, he can run his type of offense and be the next GREATEST SHOW ON TURF!

Sorry but Kelly just doesn't fit in the NFL since he is a better college coach.

I don't know if he has been mentioned in this long thread, but the worst all time has to be Ray Handley of the Giants. Succeeded Parcells and just totally lost his mind when it came to dealing with the media.
