Wow, you are really digging up the names! I think some guys are just destined to be good to great coordinators (Joe Philbin comes to mind) but not the personal makeup for head coaching. I do believe somewhat Philbin leaving made a bigger difference to the Packers than they thought it would be.
This will be an interesting year for Kelly with all the drastic moves he's made in Philly, he could be the greatest thing since sliced bread or the opposite end of the spectrum, which is not a good thing!

Being both a Dolphins and Eagles fan, it'll be very interesting to see what both Philbin and Kelly do this coming season to coach their teams into contention.

Thanks Susan! Fact is Dolphins fired Philbon after the London Game.
I couldn't stand Frank Kush, and this incident made Holden Smith my second-favorite Baltimore Colt.
On July 24, about to begin his second season as a member of the Baltimore Colts, Smith was dismissed by Frank Kush, the coach, in the midst of a sprint drill. Kush contended that Smith had been loafing. Smith, who appeared in three games as a rookie, argued that he was slowed by a hamstring injury that he thought the coach knew about. In any case, Smith retaliated by confronting Kush in the team dining room and dumping a container of root beer over his head.

Love this! Frank Kush was so old school. Drill sergeant.

The complete opposite of my favorite coach, Don McCafferty, who coached the Baltimore Colts to victory in Superbowl V against the Cowboys (aka the "Blooperbowl"). McCafferty was so relaxed, the players called him "Easy Rider".

In between Arizona State and Baltimore he coached the Hamilton Tiger-Cats for one season going 11-4-1. He sparred with players over the taping of their shoes to their feet or ankles. Probably some other stories to dig up about his time in Canada.
People in New York absolutely despised Rich Kotite from what I recall.
