Cardinals @ Panthers Quarterback problems will haunt the Cards
Lions @ Cowboys Could go either way but my money is on the Cowboys
Bengals @ Colts Cincinnati is wrapped up in playoff history and none of it good.
Ravens @ Steelers Pittsburgh is play better than the Ravens right now

Haven't had time to do the full analysis yet, but at this point, I think the home teams are just legitimately better this time around. Even with the Panthers being the anomaly as the only team with a losing record, I think they've been playing well lately but more importantly, Arizona's just not playing like a playoff team without Palmer. It's unfortunate, because the Cardinals are actually a really good team, and this will be the second year in a row they just don't have the chance to show it.

I like the Cowboys, Steelers, Colts, and Panthers. The Cowboys and Steelers might be facing the stronger challengers this week.

Cardinals @ Panthers

Cardinals are slipping, but the QB play is getting better. Panthers are a bad team in a bad division.

Lions @ Cowboys

Cowboys look like beasts right now. Don't think the Lions can handle them.

Bengals @ Colts

Colts have won 5 of 6 but have not looked great doing it. Colts blanked the Bengals earlier in the year, but even as a Colts fan I'm not sure where their heads are at right now. Still picking the Colts to win at home by a small margin.

Ravens @ Steelers

This should be an incredible game, but I think the Steelers are hitting their stride just in time.

Bengals @ Colts
Ravens @ Steelers
Those are my predictions for this week's wild card round.
Panthers - okay Homer pick, but this team is coming together at the right time. Combined with Arizona's QB issues and no Andre Ellington, the Panthers should be the favorite to pull out a W.

Lions - I'd be more sure if Suh were playing. However I'm not ready to trust Romo in the playoffs. I know I should not trust Stafford either but getting this game indoors works to the Lions advantage.

Colts - I'd pick Indy to be one and done.....if they were not playing the Bengals, the one-and-done kings.

Steelers - Antonio Brown is going to take full advantage of the Ravens patchwork secondary.

Lions - I think Suh will win the appeal. Lions are the better team, however I would not bet a dime on the game due to how inconsistent Stafford is. Not to mention, too much emphasis is put on Calvin Johnson when Golden Tate is a more consistent player.

Cardinals - Feel free to say the Panthers are coming around... the Cardinals are the Cardinals with or without Carson Palmer. I give them a first round win against a terrible Panthers team.

Colts - Have to go with the Colts on this one, even if I'm not fully sold.

Ravens - I'm predicting Ravens, simply because I hate everything about the Steelers (and I don't like Joe Flacco at all)

Cowboys over Lions. Did's Suh's stupidity give the Cowboys a massive advantage? I believe so. Part of me hopes this is a very close game. The kind that will leave the Lions afterward thinking, "Man, one solid pass rusher would have made the difference in that one."

Panthers over Cardinals. I know a lot of people don't like it when a team with a good record plays on the road against a team with a good record, but I don't have a problem with it. You want a home playoff game? The solution is simple: win your division.

Steelers over Ravens. Always good theater.

Colts over Bengals. The Bengals have the more complete team, but it is too hard to pick against Andrew Luck at home in the playoffs. When the Colts go to New England next week will be another story entirely!

Home games all across for me. I realize one of the road teams probably will get a win, but it's hard to say which. I give the Ravens the best shot just because their games with the Steelers tend to be pretty hard fought these last few years.
