I like Jim Harbaugh (and his brother as well) but he has to be one of the whinniest coaches in pro sports. Shouldn't complain about bringing your checkers mindset to a chess match.

I saw him on ESPN this a.m., what is he saying? They had a previous Pats player talking and I still didn't understand it. What is all the fuss about???

If it's in the rulebook, and if the refs were notified in advance, I don't see a problem.

Why even make these comments? Sounds like some sour grapes from John. He should be more outraged at the fact that his team blew a 14 point lead not once, but twice. Not to mention the Patriots offense was one dimensional, especially in the second half, and his secondary could not get the job done.

While I don't disagree with you, the analogy is not accurate. If Harbaugh had a checkers mindset and Belichick had chess mindset i would have expected a larger spread than 4 points. Don't dismiss Harbaugh's coaching ability that easily.. if so, it diminishes Belichick's as well.

It's called genius.

If anyone was at fault, it was the refs not properly announcing Vereen as ineligible and the rule book.

more sour grapes fromt he losing team. first the cowboys/lions "they picked up the flag that would have won us the game" to "they did illegal formations". the refs properly announced the players were ineligible, and the formation was set such that it was obvious who the ineligible player was, had the defensive players bothered to read the formation like they should have, and quick snaps are a part of the game.

did vereen go out in the pass pattern? obviously not because the refs would have then flagged him for being an ineligible receiver down field.

and by the way, i was rooting for the ravens to win the game.

According to reports, there was an announcement in the stadium of Vereen being ineligible. Remember, what the Patriots did is not illegal.

Many hate the Pats. They call them cheaters but what they are is clever and they get the job done.
When they win it might not be pretty but they find a way and they sure do entertain.
Thanks to their hijinx yesterday I bit my nails down past the first knuckle and now all I have is nubs! What am I gonna do next week? start on my toes!!
