Because if you don't make it, then Seattle is backed up deep in their endzone, instead of kicking a field goal, and spotting them 20 yds since most kick offs now end in a touchback anyway.

Then Seattle picks up a first down or 2, punts it, and if you're lucky, you move the ball back in range to kick a 45 yard FG. Easier to make a 20 yarder. Don't leave points on the field.

Well, you saw how far they are off.
Not really fraudulent. They went into Denver and beat the Broncos. That is not easy to do... The Patriots lost there last year...

I'm of the school of thought that when you have them on the ropes early, you go for the knock out. I guess I've been spoiled by watching Urban Meyer and Ohio State do it!

There are situations where it makes sense, but this isn't college. There's just no logical reason for me to believe they can punch it in on 4th down when they failed to do so 3 plays in a row.

Well, on at least one of those downs I would have gone play action. We can agree to disagree I guess.

Beat a Denver team with an, apparently injured, Manning that is basically on the low end of his long career. Fact is, the Colts had no business lining up against the Patriots in the AFC title game. The AFC crown was decided last week when the Pats beat the Ravens.

Please, the Packers will still have one of the best QBs in the league heading into 2015 and you know they'll lock up Cobb. Between Rogers, Nelson and Cobb, Green Bay will be just fine and competing against next year for a title. As Rogers said....R-E-L-A-X.
