I think whether Brady wins or not on Sunday, as a football fan I just can't see how you couldn't at least consider him on the top of the pedestal all by himself. Just getting to the Super Bowl is a feat, and this is his 6th time, all alone in that category. Personally I think 3-3 (if he loses) is as impressive as 4-0. And 6-3 in AFC Championships in 14 years - he's gotten to 64% of potential Championship games in his career, and has won 66% of them - that's crazy. And as many agree, he's had some solid performers around him, but not to the caliper that other QB's have. He had Moss later in Moss's career, and look what they did. Welker became Welker with Brady. I think Gronk is the only true super star receiver that Brady has worked with, and his injuries have cost the Pats dearly in recent years - we shall see what happens this Sunday with hopefully a healthy Gronk for the whole game.

I think Brady's accomplishments speak volumes for him as a team player. His longevity playing at an elite level is unmatched. His advantage hasn't been with his supporting cast on the field as the salary cap era has opened the revolving door (another mark for Brady doing what he has done in this era), but with Belichick. Brady has been the perfect student - he bought into Belichick from day 1 and has been executing what Belichick serves his entire career.

It will be his 6th Super Bowl in 14 years. Amazing. He does, however, have to win to be considered the greatest of all time....
