Who do you think has the better defense? Both are known as elite defenses.

What is the point of polls like this at the end of the season??? I left the weather section because it became nothing but polls and compare these climates, real or fictional.

Elite defenses carry teams to championships. Buffalo didn't make the playoffs and Seattle is looking to add a second ring to their hands. Only one elite defense here and it is not in Buffalo. (I am a Bills fan too, and do know it is a good defense)

Just look at the stats. Seattle's defense is number 1 in almost everything including fewest allowed points, fewest allowed total yards and fewest allowed passing yards.

Some of those categories are close.
Points: difference of 35

Passing yards: 322

Looking at strength of schedule, the Bills had the 6th toughest. Seahawks had the 15th toughest. Plus, Bills face the Patriots twice a year, which is probably good for 35 points right there, while the Seahawks play in the defense heavy, offense light NFC west. So it may be closer than people imagine.

Don't forget, the Bills shut out P. Manning and A. Rodgers...

If they played the same opponents, Buffalo will easily be the best.

so, Buffalo missed the Superbowl this year because they didn't play NFC West teams.
