History suggests that the team with the better defense will win the Super Bowl 8 or 9 times out of 10.

I think it will be a great game.

Based on what? the Colts game?

Ravens (who are the closest thing in the AFC to a NFC style football) scored 31 points on the Patriots defense and Ravens lost because they have an awful secondary defense which Seattle is #1 in the league.

You will find out that NFC football is more physical than AFC football in 2 weeks.

When you have 5 turnovers and still win, that is destiny.

Brady and the Patriots could NEVER have 5 turnovers and still beat the Packers.....that's how good the Seahawks are, even on their worst day, they still beat the Packers who in my opinion have the best QB in football, better running game and a better offense than the Patriots.

I see the Seahawks repeating.

Can they both lose?

People should forget the Pats/Colts game, Colts doesn't resemble anything to Seattle or NFC physical style defense, they are soft and 1 dimensional.

Ravens are the closest thing in the AFC to a NFC style of football and the Ravens scored 31 points on the Pats defense and Forsett rushed for 129 yards (Forsett is no Lynch) and Flacco had 4 TD's.....the difference is the Ravens pass defense is rank #23 in the NFL while the Seahawks pass defense is rank #1.

Patriots couldn't run on the Ravens, Pats only rush for 17 yards. Ravens have the #4 rank run defense in the NFL but the Seahawks is better rank at #3 best run defense in the NFL.

If the Pats can't run the ball they will become 1 dimensional and force Brady to pass against the #1 pass defense in the NFL.

I'm a Boston girl so I have to go with my Patriots, although it's going to be tough to beat Seattle. Any team that has five turnovers and still gets the win is pretty darn impressive.

not only that but who they did it against!....Packers are top 3 best teams in the NFL.

Do you see the Patriots having 5 turnovers and beating the Packers?.....I mean the Pats had 0 turnovers against the Packers and the Pats still lost.

If you want a preview of the Super Bowl just watch the Patriots/Ravens game.....the only difference is the Hawks have a way better defense than the Ravens, a better running game than the Ravens and Wilson makes more plays than Joe Flacco and can scramble and run.

Patriots could only rush for 17 yards against the Ravens.....Hawks have a better run defense than the Ravens.

this is bad matchup for the Pats.

No, there's no way in hell the Pats could have committed five turnovers and beat the Packers. They couldn't have done it against the Ravens either.

I think the Hawks/Packers game would have been more competitive with Rodgers playing at 100%, but Wilson found a way to make plays when it counted to pull off the win.

My concern for the Pats is whether or not their offensive line will be able to hold up against that tough Seattle defense. If they don't, Brady will end up as roadkill.

give the Seahawks defense credit, they could have thrown in the towel after the 5th turnover and given up but they kept the Packers to only 6 points (2 field goals) in the second half.

Packers have a better passing and running game than the Pats and they couldn't get it done with 5 Hawks turnovers, I don't see how the Pats can do any better than the Packers.

Packers are #6 rank offense........11th rank rushing

Pats are # 11 rank offense..........18th rank rushing.

Unless the Hawks have 5 turnovers again (doubt it), how do the Pats keep this game close? this is a bad match up for the Pats.
