lol. Transitivity doesn't apply here, it's about matchups. For otherwise, Balt was better than Pitt this year, Pitt was better than Cincy, and Cincy was better than Balt. This forms a 3-cycle, which makes any sort of transitivity principle impossible.
There is no way NE is winning this game on the ground. Btw, GB started with the ball on the Seattle side of the field on average for the first however many possessions (maybe even through the whole first half), but Seattle's defense was still good enough to hold up. You better believe they won't be turning the ball over 5 times in 2 weeks. When Seattle's defense eliminates NE's running game, sacks Brady, forces interceptions, and hits their receivers enough that they start dropping most of Brady's passes, what is NE going to do?
Btw, GB got a few yards on the ground, but still couldn't get 1 yard at the goal line when it mattered most. If NE wants any chance of winning, they can't settle for field goals.
I say this because the Seahawks have a legit D, and D wins championships. They have a much better D than the 2012 Ravens, which was good enough to have Brady playing horribly. The Patriots' D is overrated, as Flacco showed last week. The Seahawks also have a better RB, and once they sack Brady a few times, he'll turn into a completely average QB.
I didn't think the Seahawks would blow out GB FYI. GB is better than NE. Rodgers is better than Brady.
The Patriots have a legitimate defense too, so I don't think Seattle's D against the Pats offense is anything special when comparing Seattle's offense to the Pats defense. The Pats always allow teams to march between the 20's (except for yesterday).
And you GB>NE, Rodgers>Brady - team wise disagree. Rodgers is more complete then Brady. But, Rodgers still has a way to go to be better than Brady. He didn't prove it yesterday by winning.
But again, what would you expect me to say as a Pats fan.
Here's the thing... Seattle's offense can easily be shut down. It was for three quarters yesterday and one of those TDs was on a trick play scored against special teams.
Green Bay has struggled bigtime in the redzone this year and they had to kick two field goals that were under 20 yards early on... New England will have no troubles finding a way to stuff it in with the run or hit Gronk.
New England also is more versatile on offense, even though Brady has bricks tied to his feet. They can run it 45 times a game or pass it 50 times a game.
You just can't compare Seattle playing against GB with Seattle playing against NE.
Even the coaching decisions are wildly different... Belichek NEVER lets his foot off the gas pedal... Which if you swap GB with NE for the 4th quarter of yesterday's game, Seattle wouldn't have stood a chance to make a comeback.
Rodgers BETTER than Brady this season: Rodgers QBR 112 38 TD's Brady QBR 97 33 TD.
Packers offense is ranked 6th in the NFL.(11th ranked rushing) Patriots is ranked 11th.(18th ranked rushing)
Eddie Lacy is ranked #7 in the NFL with 1,139 rushing. While Patriots have none of their RB's crack the top 45 list in the NFL.
Packers are ranked #1 in the NFL with most points scored in a season. Patriots are ranked 6th.
For you to say Green Bay has struggled "BIG TIME" in the redzone you sure don't what you are talking about. They are ranked #1 in the NFL with most points scored.
Packers would have beat the Patriots in the S.B. by a wider margin than in November because of better weather in Arizona that helps the passing game which Rodgers is a better passing QB than Brady and Packers have a better offense than the Pats.
If you want a preview of the Super Bowl, go watch the Pats/Ravens game. Ravens are the closest thing in the AFC to a NFC physical run team but add that the Hawks have the #1 pass defense in the NFL while the Ravens are ranked #23. Hawks have a better running game than the Ravens , Forsett ran for 129 yards on the Pats, Lynch is a better RB and more physical than Forsett. Hawks have a better playmaker/QB in Wilson than Flacco and Flacco passed for 4 TD's on the Patriots defense.
and the key here: Ravens have the #4 run defense in the NFL and the Pats could only rush for 17 yards.......guess what the Hawks are ranked at run defense? #3 in the NFL.
When Pats can't run the ball on the Hawks and make the Pats 1 dimensional, that will make Brady pass a lot against the #1 ranked pass defense in the NFL and that will be the downfall of the Pats at the end..............Patriiots like the Packers will move the ball but they will be kicking field goals and Brady coughing up at least 2 INT's.

.
there is a difference playing against the #1 defense in Seattle than playing the Colts with no defense and no running game at home. You don't think Rodgers and the Packers would have carved up the Colts at home????
what helps Brady and the Pats is that they play in the AFC East and they have no competition in that division for years. Right off the bat, they make the playoffs every year by just winning the division.......it would be different if the Pats play in the NFC, they would still be a good team but it would be tougher for them to make the playoffs or win the division every year.

The Patriots have won more than 80% of their games against the NFC in the last 14 seasons.
Not the matchup I expected, was hoping for a Greenbay/New England SB. . . my money is on Brady.
Brady had a better offense when he lost to the Giants TWICE..........Seahawks have a better defense than those Giants teams.
Brady will lose his 3rd S.B..............Pats couldn't run on the Ravens and they won't on the Hawks........the difference is the Hawks don't have a weak secondary and corners like the Ravens. This is a bad matchup for the Pats.......Pats match better against the Packers.

last time I checked , they lost the last 2 S.B. against the NFC and the 3 S.B. they won a loooooong time ago they barely won by last minute field goals.
Brady have problems with physical defenses that can run the ball.......that's why they almost lost to the #6 seed Ravens.....Hawks have the same style of football as the Ravens but more physical and better players.

The fact that they lost to the Giants twice in the Super Bowl does not matter - in the last 14 seasons the Patriots have won more than 80% of their games against NFC teams.
You're clearly grasping at anything to try and trash New England.
