I agree with this. I'm not watching the Super Bowl... not because I'm butthurt. But, the guy that hurt me was a HUGE Seahawks fan and before he did what he did, he told me while I was wearing my Packers sweatshirt, "I should really hate you given I am a Seahawks fan." Yeah, we see how that turned out. This was November 2013... last year I cried with the Super Bowl. Not doing that again.

I'm pulling for New England and my numbers on the block pool. The Seattle team and it's fans are very unlikable.
I guess I'm naive. As a Patriots fan I know all about the hatred towards the team.

What is it about Seattle (team and fans) that they've done to also be so hated?

Surely, it was just a deal between Reggie Bush and one other person.

Obviously, no one else could have possibly known about it.

PS I really really dont care whom wins.
The blow-up concerning Reggie Bush was that his parents were living rent free in a home in San Diego. Pete lived and worked in LA, over 100 miles away. Reggie lived and went to school in LA, over 100 miles away.
How were they to have any idea who was paying the rent on all of the player's parents homes, a two hour drive away.??
Hello dad, how is everything going down there, and who is paying the rent on your home?
The bad guys were the parents who were knowlingly doing something illegal, certainly not Pete.
Do you know who makes the payments on all of your friends parents home? An unrealistic expectation.

OK OK - defense wins championships.

When it's all said and done, the rest of the world will be saying cheating wins championships

Brady is going to need a lot more than deflated balls against this defense.

Opposing fans never like other winning teams. That's the problem. If for example Jacksonville become very good and go to 2 super bowls in a row, people will say how unlikable and annoying the team and fans of Jacksonville are.

I don't hate the team because of the team, but experiences associated with someone that is a fan of the team.

Sounds like as good a reason as any other....
Joe loves team X, and I hate Joe, so therefore I hate team X. Does that carry over to other areas of life as well?
i.e, Joe loves Mexican food and I hate Joe, so I refuse to eat Mexican food, Joe loves busty blonds, so I won't have anything to do with one, etc, etc, etc....
