I seriously doubt they tampered with the balls and if they did would it have made any difference in their stomping of the Colts?
How about the 4 pt difference in the Ravens game? Once they have been caught at it, do you really believe it was the first time?

Yep, that's what I was thinking. I would think a deflated ball would make it harder to play... unless that's the point - use the deflated ball to make the Colts lose.

I'm a Packers fan, but I was hoping for the Colts. Andrew Luck is a cute little cave man.

In baseball you have pitchers who scuff balls and hitters who cork bats or use too much pine tar. We shouldn't be surprised if NFL teams try to gain an edge. That doesn't mean there shouldn't be punishment -- just the opposite. I say if the NFL cares about the integrity of the outcome, then it's up to them to punish cheaters. Belichick makes calculated decisions. He figured the risks and costs of getting caught were outweighed by the profits of victory. The NFL can change that at any time -- if they want to.
The Pats fans have turned into rationalizers. Go Figure!

I bet the cheating will stop right then and there.

But, you know what will happen....nothing. Back to business as usual.
The Colts should have been playing at home against the Ravens.

Well, if what ESPN reports is true.. 2 psi less on 11 of the 12 balls for the Pats, then the weather option is OUT. The weather did not cause 11 of those balls to lose 2 psi..

There is no way the Pats will ever admit to doing this so the league will either have to ignore it and claim no fault or fine them and say it was not intentional or it was an oversight.. I suspect the ladder is very possible now.

Still, the dark cloud that now hovers over this franchise is blacker than ever.. It is really a shame because the Pats have been the best franchise in all of sports over the past decade yet they can't seem to stay in bounds for what ever reason.

As much as Bob Kraft is respected by the league, I am surprised he would continue to allow someone from within his business to continue to taint his brand. I guess all that really matters is wins.. and championships.

The Ravens and Colts should be playing this weekend to see who plays the Seahawks the following weekend. Does anyone believe either team would not be able to play on short notice?
