Wouldn't L.A. really rather have the Raiders back ? It seems to me the Raiders would be the natural choice. The Bay area has 2 teams playing in a market half the size of Los Angeles. I think the Rams are playing LA to get a better stadium deal in Saint Louis and I think it will work. Either way Saint Louis will have first crack to keep the Rams.
After seeing the renderings of the stadium that St. Louis is trying to get financing for. It seems to be a budget induced 64,000 seat open air stadium.
That stadium doesn't even come close to the stadium that Stan Kreonke is proposing in LA. An 80,000 seat state of the art stadium/complex.
Even if St. Louis does get the financing to construct that stadium, it wont be enough to keep the Rams.
I always liked the Rams when they were in LA and was sorry to see them go. So part of me would love to see them back.
But all this moving around and leverage is a bit disheartening. If LA is such a good football market, why have they managed to lose 3 teams, including the Chargers?
I think they should move St Louis (the city) to LA
Naa, just the Rams will do.
