I find it humerus and a curious study of humans in how people attack Gisele when talking about Tom. It's sports entertainment yet people make it personal attacking an athlete's wife. Oh well, it's to be expected from humans.

Sorry, DH, I got carried away.

Cheating, not acceptable for anything or anyone. Even if it is my beloved Patriots and that has yet to be proved.

Here's video of a guy deflating 11 + 1 footballs in 40 seconds. So, I believe the 11 balls could be leaked (as well as the ball boy taking a leak himself lol) within 90 seconds. Also, a precise air pressure bleeding device could easily be rigged up. Of course, this doesn't confirm that anything nefarious happened, but the deed is definitely doable.

I think the thread derailment was nothing more then people just showing their passion for a sport they love. And what tamiznluv said about cheating is also true - it is a frowned upon behavior. As a Patriots fan, it sort of irks me that other fans never speak about their team and cheating (many teams through the media have been noted cheaters), yet they are all on the Patriots bandwagon. I think that's why so many Pats fans feel singled out - recent history proves they are.

That's hardly the only reason people hate the Pats. But go ahead, whenever your team is found guilty of something (or at least accused), just say "but everyone else cheats too!"

Feel free to list the reasons people hate the Patriots.

I've looked around and spy gate was pretty much the biggest cheating scandal in the NFL in recent memory. Considering it's all the same people and it wasn't that long ago....I don't see how they are being "singled out".

I looked around on-line and there was another more minor taping scandal (guy got fired over it) a number of years back and some stick-um type incidents but I'm just not seeing how the Patriots DON'T stand out in that regard.

So, what other teams have had similar cheating scandals?

Not similar, but the Giants cheated on the salary cap, which means they had players that should not have been on their team. Should have forfeited those games.
But the worst example of cheating was the Saints paying players to intentionally hurt other players. Very much against the rules.
Taping the other team like the Pats did was against the rules, but had been allowed previously.
