Okay. I'd rather spend a weekend in Arizona than Kansas City anyway.

Super Bowl should be on a rotating schedule and played in every city. Get rid of all the media crap and give season ticket holders of that city first dibs on tickets at a decent price.

The Kansas City Super Bowl was contingent on passing two taxes -- one for improvements to the Chiefs' Arrowhead Stadium and the Royals' Kauffman Stadium, which was next door. The first one to fund stadium improvements passed. The second one, which was to put a rolling roof between the two stadiums, did not pass.

did they actually state in the requirement just how big this rolling roof had to be?

The SB is an event, not just a game. It should be played in a warm weather city

Plus if you cycle through 31 cities, how do you account for teams moving, leaving the league, new teams entering the league with such a long cycle length? I agree with Keep.

big deal. something fell through for KC and the super bowl was awarded to arizona. i know how they feel though, many years ago the super bowl was supposed to be held in arizona, until evan mecum canceled an illegal MLK holiday, and then told the state legislature to send him a bill for a legal MLK holiday, and the legislature failed to do so. so the NFL bowed to pressure, and moved the super bowl somewhere else, and mecum got blamed despite the fact that he was right in doing what he did.

I agree with this 100% which is why I was not thrilled to see the superbowl played in New Jersey last year. It just didn't have a superbowl feel because of the weather and the fact that it was dark outside as soon as the game started.

If it were me I would get rid of all the event crap.

Play the super bowl one week after the conference championship games.
