I consider that desperation, in my opinion.

Being one yard away from scoring. With a time out, a great power running back, knowing you will have at least two shots to get that one yard isn't as desperate.
Ok, i will correct you if you insist.. the Seahawks were never down a few scores. They were down 7-0 in the first and 14-7 late in the 2nd.. then they were down by 4 late in the game.... I felt Wilson played ok, not terrible but not great either.. They called a play taht didn't work.. it happens about 50 times in every football game..

Edelman made some great catches and tacked on a bunch of yards after the catches with some slick moves.

I cannot defend that playcall at all. If Lynch gets it, and the Pats stop him, so be it. Even if you do go pass, a PA rollout would have been at least defensible. Wilson don't throw the pick 9 out of ten times but that situation had beast mode written all over it.

You would have thought they would have learned something after the Packers game but apparently not..

because they have sorry ass receivers....Baldwin and Kearse are garbage.....letting Golden Tate and Harvin go hurt the offense big time.

but they didn't go for the kill....they had the patriots on the ropes and went conservative....that Keaerse dropped on 3rd down to put them in scoring position hurt.

I agree. The two plays are not comparable.

Seahawks could have run it at least two more times. Lynch picked up four yards on 1st and goal from the five. Give him two more chances to pick up one more yard. Carol let his players down big time.

You've got the most dominant runner in football and it's the 4th quarter on a long drive. How do you not at least hand the ball off. If nothing else, you let Wilson roll to one side or the other and then put it on him to either run it in or throw it away. But putting it up in traffic on the down immediately following the biggest pass play in Super Bowl history???? Absolutely the dumbest call I've ever seen. Seriously, any drooling drunken sports fan sitting on a bar stool could have called that one. Patriots didn't win, Pete Caroll lost.

It's not just this one call, it's the fact that Carroll lets his team play undisciplined football and shrugs it off as harmless aggression. Seattle has won b/c they're so talented that it's hard to lose. But "what's your deal" managed to lose to Harbaugh big time in college and now he's losing games he oughtta win in the pros.

Well, I am not a pats fan.. far from it.. I am sure the Pats fans would be whining had the lost a third Super Bowl because of an unbelievable catch at the end of the game.. but the facts are, the Pats defense made a play.. so the Seahawks fans are whinning.. go figure! Trust me.. no Patriots fan is embarrassed because of that play call, not one!

how do you let your 2 best receivers go in Harvin and Tate and expect to win.....I'm surprised the Hawks made it back to the SB.

Seahawks front office need to get a big time receiver.
