Of course it's huge here in the US. Latest numbers say 114 million people viewed it.

Just wondering how it is viewed in Europe, Asia, etc. I'm pretty sure Canadians get a rise out of if due to proximity.

Do other countries schedule their day around Super Bow sunday or is it just casual viewing. We know futbol is huge over there so not sure how american football relates to them.

If soccer is growing here then football is growing there. I think it's the fourth law of thermodynamics.

Polls out there can be skewed, but only an estimated 35% of the population watched the SB….that leaves 65% who didn't

That is less than half the populations.
Many people IN the US don't care and do not schedule their day around it.

But it is the single biggest viewing event of the year every year (usually). So it is a significant event.

By and large, most people outside of the US do not really care about the Super Bowl. Not really surprising when you factor in that our football is not played all over the world, like say soccer is.

I don't think superbowl is significant outside the US. If anything football = soccer outside the US.
Even in the US, I think less than 50% of the population tuned into it.
And of those 50% watching, maybe lots of them just watch for the Katy Perry half time

It is nowhere near a huge event as the OP states.... unless you are referring to the huge amount of hype.

On a world wide basis...........Formula one races, cricket test matches, the World Cup of soccer, and in Canada, the Stanley Cup play off series, all have more appeal than the Super Bowel.

Compare the combined population of India, and the African nations, and they dwarf the population of the USA. THEY love soccer, and every little town has at least one sat dish that can get the game of the day.

Now add the south American nations, and the Europeans, and the final of the world cup series make the super bowel look like a Friday night high school game in a small Texas town.

Yes I know that I mis= spelled the word bowel..............Its a joke, people.
